A Palm Beach County personal injury attorney investigates the crash, documents your damages, and handles the insurance companies. When the offer is too low, he files suit. Peter Porcaro has recovered more than $15 million for injury clients, is board-certified, and charges no fees unless we recover money for you.
Most firms staff your case with a rotation of paralegals and case managers. Porcaro Law Group doesn’t work that way. You talk to Peter. He reads your medical records. He takes the adjuster’s calls. He decides when to settle and when to file suit. And when a case goes to court, it was built for that day. Every case we accept is prepared trial-ready, because insurance companies pay more to firms they know will try cases.
That applies to every claim type we handle, from car accidents on I-95 to premises injuries and wrongful death claims. The full list of case types is below.
Peter Porcaro has practiced law for more than 20 years. He spent the first part of his career defending insurance companies, so he knows how they value a claim — he used to be the one valuing it. In 2015 he founded Porcaro Law Group in Delray Beach to work the other side of the table.
His credentials: Penn State (B.S., Biology, 2003), University of Pittsburgh School of Law (J.D., 2006), the Florida Bar (#31147), the Pennsylvania Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is board-certified, a credential the Florida Bar awards to a small percentage of Statewide Florida lawyers.
When you hire this firm, you get Peter’s cell number. Call at night, on a weekend, from a hospital room — someone answers. The office is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Read more about Peter and the team →
Peter has recovered more than $15 million for injury clients across Palm Beach County. He built that number one case at a time: investigate the crash, document every dollar of medical cost and lost income, refuse the lowball offer because the file is ready for trial. The full list of verdicts and settlements is on our case results page.

Peter and staff were concerned with my case but early on more concerned with making sure I had proper medical care and made recommendations with the best physicians. They were in contact with me on a regular basis which made the entire process smooth. In the end my settlement was much better than I could have ever expected. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Porcaro Law Group. From the moment I reached out, I felt like more than just a case number, they truly listened, cared, and made me feel supported during a really difficult time. After my accident, I was overwhelmed and unsure of what to do next. Their team walked me through everything with so much patience and compassion. They explained the legal process clearly, kept me informed at every step, and always made time for my questions, no matter how small. What stood out the most was how hard they fought for me. You could tell they genuinely wanted the best outcome, and I never felt like I was being rushed or pressured into anything. They were professional, but also down-to-earth and easy to talk to, which made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. I’m truly grateful for everything they did and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Porcaro Law Group to anyone who needs a personal injury attorney who actually cares and delivers results.Posted on Google![]()

We take the cases other firms won’t. These are the claim types we handle most often for clients from Boca Raton to Jupiter. Hurt in Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, or somewhere else in the county? Start with the page for your city: Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, or Delray Beach.
Car crashes are the largest share of injury claims in Palm Beach County, and most trace back to three causes: speed, distraction, and failure to yield.
A commercial truck on I-95 or a county freight corridor does catastrophic damage, and the claim runs through federal safety rules, driver logs, and corporate insurers with teams of adjusters.
Riders get hurt badly in crashes that would leave a car occupant shaken. The insurance fight usually turns on visibility and fault. We build these cases on the physics and the medical record.
Rideshare coverage switches depending on the driver's app status, and each insurance layer has its own adjuster and argument for paying less. We sort out which policy applies.
Hotels, stores, and apartment complexes have a legal duty to fix or warn about hazards they know about. These cases turn on proof of notice.
Spinal cord damage, traumatic brain injury, amputation. We bring in life-care planners and economists so the claim reflects decades of future costs.
Losing a family member to negligence is the hardest kind of case there is. We carry the legal process — the representative, the claim, the deadlines. No fees unless we recover.
Work injuries run through Florida's workers' comp system, which pays far less than most people expect. When someone other than your employer caused it, a separate third-party claim may be worth far more.
Malpractice cases carry strict procedural requirements, including expert review before a suit can be filed. We take the cases other firms won't, but we screen first.
Florida law holds dog owners liable for bites even when the dog has never shown aggression. The fight is usually over the value of scarring, infection risk, and the fear that follows.
Case value depends on your medical costs, your lost income, the care you’ll need down the road, and how fault gets divided. Any attorney who quotes you a number before reviewing your records is guessing. What we can tell you is what goes into the number, and what can shrink it.
Damages come in two buckets. Economic damages are the ones with receipts: hospital bills, follow-up treatment, lost wages, diminished earning capacity. Non-economic damages cover the rest: the pain, the limits on your daily life, everything that doesn’t come with an invoice. Florida’s modified comparative negligence rule cuts your recovery by your share of fault and bars it entirely at 51% or more (Fla. Stat. §768.81) — which is why the adjuster works so hard to pin blame on you.
We work on contingency. You pay no attorney’s fees unless we recover money for you, and the consultation is free.
Most personal injury claims settle before trial. The rest get filed at the Palm Beach County Courthouse — the 15th Judicial Circuit, at 205 N. Dixie Hwy in West Palm Beach. Every case we accept is prepared as if it will end up in that building, because that’s what makes insurers pay attention.
According to the FLHSMV 2024 Traffic Crash Facts, Palm Beach County recorded 26,550 crashes in 2024. 207 people died. 16,564 were injured. The worst of it concentrates on I-95 and the county’s main corridors — Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Okeechobee Boulevard and Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach. And with roughly 15.9% of Florida drivers carrying no insurance, a serious crash often means fighting your own insurer’s uninsured-motorist coverage on top of the at-fault driver’s.
One deadline governs everything: Florida statute of limitations gives you two years from the date of the injury to file a personal injury lawsuit (Fla. Stat. §95.11). Evidence fades long before that clock runs out. Earlier is almost always better.
If a motor vehicle was involved, Florida’s PIP law also applies. It remains in force: you have 14 days from the crash to seek medical treatment to preserve up to $10,000 in benefits, so see a doctor promptly even if you feel fine. Repeal bills have been proposed — the most recent died in committee in 2025 — and nothing has changed yet.
The first hours after an injury decide a lot about your case. Get medical care right away, document what you can, and talk to an attorney before you give any statement to an insurance company — including your own.
If a vehicle was involved, the 14-day PIP deadline comes first: see a doctor within 14 days of the crash or you can lose up to $10,000 in benefits. Go even if you feel fine. Some of the worst injuries, including internal bleeding and concussions, don’t show symptoms on day one.
Then protect the record. Photograph the scene, the vehicles, the hazard, your injuries. Get names and numbers of witnesses. Request the crash report from the responding agency. Keep every bill and explanation of benefits. And before you speak with any adjuster — theirs or yours — call us at (561) 450-9355. Adjusters are trained to get statements that reduce what they pay. You’re not required to give them one.

You don’t need to find a lawyer in your own city. Porcaro Law Group operates one office in Delray Beach, and from there we serve clients across the entire county — Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter. Most of what we do happens by phone, by video, and at the courthouse, so getting to 401 Linton Blvd is rarely necessary. When it is, we’ll figure out the easiest way to get you help, including virtual consultations.
The consultation is free, the case review is free, and you pay no attorney’s fees unless we recover money for you.
These reviews are from people who did what you’re doing right now: compared firms, asked hard questions, and hired us anyway.

Nothing up front. Porcaro Law Group works on contingency: you pay no attorney’s fees unless we recover money for you. The consultation is free, and case costs are advanced by the firm. If we don’t recover for you, you owe us no fee. That’s the arrangement, in writing, before we start.
Two years from the date of the injury, under Florida’s statute of limitations. Miss that deadline and the claim is barred no matter how strong it is. Some situations shorten or extend the window, so treat two years as the outside limit and call early. Evidence like scene photos and witness recollections fades within weeks, not years.
Florida’s PIP law requires you to seek medical care within 14 days of a motor vehicle crash to preserve up to $10,000 in benefits. The law remains in force. Treatment from a hospital, urgent care, or licensed provider within that window counts — delays can forfeit the coverage entirely, even when the crash was clearly someone else’s fault.
Most personal injury cases settle before trial. But the settlement number depends on whether the insurance company believes you’ll actually try the case. Every Porcaro Law Group case is prepared trial-ready from day one, which is why our offers tend to improve once the adjuster sees the file. If trial is the right move, Peter takes it to trial.
Yes. One office in Delray Beach serves injured clients throughout Palm Beach County, from Boca Raton to Jupiter. Most work happens by phone and video, and court matters are handled at the county courthouse in West Palm Beach. Start with the page for your city: Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, or Delray Beach.
Florida uses modified comparative negligence. Your recovery is reduced by your percentage of fault, and if you’re found 51% or more at fault, you recover nothing. Insurance adjusters know this rule and use it — which is why they push recorded statements early. Let us handle the fault argument before it costs you money.
Serving injured clients county-wide from Delray Beach — one office, all of Palm Beach County. The consultation is free, the case review is free, and you pay no attorney’s fees unless we recover money for you.
Contacting Porcaro Injury Law does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship is formed only through a signed written retainer agreement.
