Halloween is right around the corner, and I am sure we all are visiting pumpkin patches, carving pumpkins and planning our Halloween festivities. People celebrate Halloween differently; shout out to those who purchase scarecrow T- Shirts to scare kids, and also to those grandmas giving out full size candy bars. Best Halloween Events
For Kids:
Saturday, October 28, 2017 11:30am – 3:00pm
- “Trick-or-Treat Along the Avenue” 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Have the kiddos show off their Halloween costumes and Trick-or-Treat along Atlantic Ave! Enjoy the safety that broad daylight brings.
- Halloween Parade 1:00 p.m.
Line up at the Old School Square Park to participate in the Halloween Parade At 1:00 p.m., where you can play fun games and meet new people! The parade goes East on Atlantic Ave to Veterans Park.
- Kidsfest 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Right after the parade, kids can enjoy KidsFest in Veterans Park, where they can play in the bounce house, eat from Food Trucks, make crafts, and enjoy live entertainment. Also, local children’s services that focus on health, safety and fun will be there to give helpful information to parents.
Halloween is not just for kids! After the kids are tired out, its time for the adults to play. We have complied a list of events which you can plan on going to on your own time. Check out these fun Halloween attractions with a loved one or spouse!
Halloween Fun For Adults:
- Enigma Haunt in Boca Raton – Three hair-raising haunted attractions in one indoor location. Taking over an hour, only the insane can handle all three… can you? Open from 10/19-10/22 and 10/27-10/31, after 7pm, $20 admission.
2. South Florida Fairgrounds, Fright Nights– With 4 full haunts, carnival rides, live music, food, and entertainment, it is going to be chock full of scares! Park opens @6:00 pm; Thursdays 6-11pm, Fri & Sat 6pm-11pm.
3. Fifth Annual Witch Ride for Charity – Dozens of ‘witches’ will gather with spooky decorated bicycles to raise money for the Achievement Centers for Children and Families. Join us to cackle up some fun and get charity points! Click here to register for this $30 event.
