Boca Raton lawsuits get filed at the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, 205 N. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach. That’s about 20 miles north on I-95 from Mizner Park. I’ve tried cases in that courthouse for years. I know the judges, the defense firms, and the adjusters who answer to them. Insurers know my name. That matters when they decide what to offer.
Palm Beach County recorded 26,550 crashes, 207 deaths, and 16,564 injuries in 2024. County fatalities rose 6.7% that year even as statewide deaths fell 8.2%. Boca Raton sits inside that number. The city’s own Vision Zero program is a public admission that its roads are dangerous. I know the corridors where it happens, because I’ve handled the cases that came from them.
Glades Road carries Florida Atlantic University traffic, Town Center traffic, and I-95 ramp traffic into the same few intersections. Palmetto Park Road cuts east through downtown. Congress Avenue runs the length of the city. Statewide, 314,251 people were hurt in intersection crashes in 2024. Left turns, red-light running, failure to yield.
